Cookie policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones the website www.exquisitem.com uses, what for, and how you can accept them, reject them or change your mind at any time. The website is run by MIRÓ PASTISSERIA BOMBONERIA, SL (Exquisitem), whose details are given in the Legal notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. This policy also covers any similar technology that stores or reads information on your device, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage).

Depending on their purpose, cookies can be technical, essential for the website to work and not requiring consent, or non-essential, such as analytics cookies, which are only set if you accept them. Depending on who manages them, they can be first-party (set by our website) or third-party (managed by another organisation, in this case Google).

exq-consentExquisitem (first-party)Stores your cookie choice (which ones you accepted and when) so we don't ask you again on every page. It is kept in the browser's localStorage.12 months; after that we ask you again

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, on these terms: it is only switched on if you accept analytics cookies; until then no Google code is downloaded and no data is sent to Google; advertising features and Google Signals are disabled; and the information is analysed in aggregate, without identifying you. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address. The data may be processed by Google LLC in the United States, which is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). You can find more information in Google's privacy policy and on the page how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

We do not use advertising, social media or any other third-party cookies. The corporate video and the fonts are hosted on our own server, so they do not involve third-party cookies.

How to accept, reject or change your consent

The first time you visit the website we show you a notice where you can accept analytics cookies, reject them or choose your settings. Rejecting them does not stop you from browsing any part of the site.

You can change your mind at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page or with this button. If you withdraw your consent, we stop measuring and delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

How to manage cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Bear in mind that if you block all cookies, the website may show you the notice again on every visit.

To prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on any website, Google offers a browser opt-out add-on.

More information and changes

To find out how we process personal data and how to exercise your rights, see our Privacy policy. If we change the cookies we use or their purposes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again.
